What A Shame

Why would Mr. Darcy break my heart like that? I loved Mr Bingley, and my love was sincere! I can't help but think why he thought he was a great match for my dear Lizzy? Lizzy and I are from the same family and have the same disadvantages, yet I wasn't fit for Mr. Bingley?  The only answer I could possibly think of is that he didn't know what love was, and now he knows that someone doesn't choose whom to fall in love with.

  1. I only did what is did to save my friend. He is not fit to marry into your social class. He should marry someone who is of the same class as he. As for the disadvantages i have enough money to take on Elizabeth's debt and disadvantages while Bingley does not. in the end i only did it to help my friend.

  2. Mr. Darcy was completely unaware of your true feelings for Mr. Bingley; I guarantee he would not have acted in this manner if he had known. You and I both know that you are cautious when it comes to affection, so because Mr. Darcy does not know you like I do, he could not see your admiration for Bingley. I truly feel bad for what has happened because you are the the most kind hearted, genuine woman I know. You do not deserve to endure such pain as this, and I hope that your broken heart will soon be cured one way or another.
